The first Mathis Brothers location was founded by Bud and Don Mathis in 1955, which was later acquired by Don’s two sons, Bill and Larry, who continue to manage the Mathis Brothers Furniture name. Upholding their father’s commitment to philanthropy, the younger Mathis Brothers support a number of local and national organizations, including the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, the Science Museum Oklahoma, City Rescue Mission, Urban Angels, and the American Red Cross.
